So..livejournal was the this thing I started when I began my freshmen year, I mean "first year" at the University of Maine. As time when on it was a space to vent, catch up with friends, as well as voice concepts to get feedback.
The majority of posts that are to come over the next few weeks will be left open so that those of you who are in the digital class may see what I may have to say, as well the friends who still have lj can contribute if they wish to. (hense why I am working with my existing account for the class rather then creating/opening up something new)
As for this requirement for an online sketchbook, if possible I want more of the thought process of what went on in the images before, during, and after. There may be some other information coming in from other studios, but we'll see how this goes.
To let you know a bit about me, I have graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in Art Education(Oh, and I graduated in 3.5 years!), though I am now continuing to get a major in studio art as well because I am only short by three classes. (one being capstone-a fall only class, so I am taking a graduate course as well as an extra studio right now) With the degree in art education, there is the option of digital or photo 1, sadly to say I was much more interested in taking the traditional photography class because it was less likely that I would have the opportunity to be exposed to a photography studio. Therefore for the studio major, I am going back and completing this course, digital one, because of the requirement, though yes it is a useful class to take that I can incorporate into my future classroom.
Okay...enough for now...my flickr account is
